Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) can result from prenatal alcohol exposure and affects the developing brain and body. FASD is a spectrum so each individual with the condition is affected differently. FASD is, at its core, a life-long neuro-developmental condition. Early diagnosis and appropriate support are essential, especially for executive functioning.
FASD groups run across the UK, and the world. Here in Berkshire, we aim to provide awareness, education and support of FASD, and in a safe environment for everyone with a connection (whether diagnosed or not) to FASD.
The National Organisation for FASD is the ideal source of information to learn more about the condition - sign up to their newsletter, discover events, and more.
